Should BBD Be In Defence? - Kusch

Should BBD Be In Defence? - KuschHi Kusch, yes Bombardier does some pilot training for the military. The company's largest business jets (Global Express) are employed as surveillance aircraft by the British in their Astor program.

But then so are the aircraft of many business aircraft manufacturers. Both Gulfstream and Cessna aircraft are similarly employed by the military.

Bombardier used to have a small defence concern that built a small aerial surveillance machine which the sold off to Thales - I'm guessing - about 10 years ago?
