Demand for aircraft types

Demand for aircraft types

Thanks to Stockhouse that one came up a blank. Managed to catch it on "preview" but the software wiped out my preamble because it contained an ad for C Series.

Note, for anyone who has yet to run into this kind of thing, Stockhouse software automatically deletes your post if it contains even a hint of any advertising in the copy and paste. So if you don't want to lose something you've composed you need to highlight for copy in such a way that you omit any advertising, or copy the thing to something like Word where you can delete it.

If nothing else works you can always simply provide the link by copying only the address line which will enable anyone reading your post to view everything - including sometimes hard to copy photos and graphs.

Here's a link to a piece on the waxing and waning of turboprop demand which helps demonstrate some of the market dynamics influencing demand.

It's when we understand some of the factors involved in how demand for turboprops rises and falls we can see a wide range of things that cause demand to rise and fall over time for all types of aircraft. And we get a better appreciation for the folly involved in projecting long term demand from short term moves.
