Hi Techfan49,

I can assure you that Bombardier would love to sell their CSeries at the price list offering no discount. Unfortunately this is not realistic, if hey want to survive. If they had no competition they could charge more but since they do have competition they need to adjust their prices to get their share of the pie. They are finding new ways to make these aicrafts at a lower cost which will enable them to still make a respectable profit with a lower sales price. You snooze, you loose.

Happy new Year!"

A few months back there was a thread that the production line has an unrealized capacity of 150/yr+ (?, not sure on the exact #, but it was roughly 30%+ of published #'s).
If true, there is a big cost savings potential right away if they can drive the production volume.

Happy New Year All - "Live long and prosper" Spock

Glasshalffull if that were true, that could dramaticaly increase Bombardier's revenue.

"Live long and prosper", Happy New Year
