RE:No new A220 sales

RE:No new A220 sales

If the plane is so great and oil prices are up, what's going on that we don't know about? Everyone is posting excuses for lack of sales, but I don't buy it anymore. If you truly have a great product then it sells itself. I'm really confused...

Airbus is negociating with the suppliers to lower the cost of the both A220 aircrafts. The arlines will not rush to buy but will wait for the better price. Also, the fact that there is no new order yet does not mean anything unless the competition were selling their aircrafts in the same category range. There were already orders just before Airbus took the control. Also, Moxi will make direct flight with a more economical aircraft A220 and I think it will be very bad for the competition. Search for David Neeleman, the guy who will launch the company knows what he is doing, being involved in the creation of four airlines and co-owner of another one. If you look at the Air Baltic profitability because of the A220 and what Neeleman wants to do (he must have liked what he saw with Air Baltic and Swiss Air), a competitor will think twice to choose the proper aircraft. One of the reason to not buy the a220 could be for integration and to keep the same type of family. People do not seem to realize what Neeleman wants to do and its implication though it will begin in 2021 but it is enough for an airline to analyse the situation.
