His policies ONLY benefit his friends - ie coal and oil USA producers - tariffs hurt his own industries. His fight with China is causing American farmers great distress. And the car companies are STILL closing. So what good is Trump? He ONLY has the racists of Murika and those of low IQ on his side. The Bible belt is really with the Republicans and not really that pleased with Trump. They are really for laws that fit their viewpoint and not really that in love with Trump. NRA is fully republican. They own them.
For any THINKING voter the democrats offer the ONLY sane alternative. They see through the lies and can see how stupid and foolish the whole Trump thing is.
For Boeing, yes the republicans have a very close tie. For all those in the Boeing workforce, they will be afraid of losing their jobs. Democrats need to be careful to not alienate those potential voters.
Boeing execs SHOULD go to jail. The Max SHOULD be killed. However, I dont expect this to happen. Boeing WILL pay big $$$ to prevent both those things.
The PUBLIC passenger will determine the fate of the future of the Max. I think those 5000 planes ordered will shrink to maybe a few thousand... then Boeing will build a new plane - but that wont be for at least 7 years.
As for Trudeau, he is FAR better than Harper and Scheer. The Conservatives NEED to get back to proper conservative values and not this Trumpian tea party anti climate change stupidity. And it was Harper that allowed the SNC stuff in the first place.
