RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Have you ever heard lately a new political party created?LOL captive Canadians in third world country ...the only people who want to come to Canada are 5th world war and famine refugees along with criminals to wash their money in the biggest laundromat in the world. Sorry...no talk UA women, Germans, Swiss, or Italians coming to Canada it's way to close to 1930s Germany.

Hey Club.

It's the same immigration problem here in Toronto. Even worse than Quebec. If you ever get tired of hanging out there too? Come over with Bicente. We have plenty of 19 hole golf courses here. Plus the scotch is endless. It's pricier here, but it tastes the same.

BBDB859 wrote: The course itself is small. But I don't go there for the golf. The food wine, my scotch and cigars with family, and friends is what I am attracted to.

For more serious golf days. I have many other friends who invite me to their clubs uptown where I am. Plus paying courses etc. So it's fun in the summer. But these couple of years we haven't been able to golf often. We've been on lockdown more or less. In the summers, I travel to Europe often, and this year in November I was thinking of going to Australia with a friend that has family there. Last year I cancelled a trip to Japan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. I like watching Olympic events. But I'll get to travelling soon, once this covid situation is under control.

Toronto is a great city. You will love it. I'm surprised you're not living here by now. We have close to 1.1 Million Italian Canadians here. The 1.3 Mill., Chinese outnumbered the Italians here recently, in the city, a couple of years ago. I like my enviroment here when I'm here. But this lockdown has changed all of this. I used to travel for about a month to London evey summer just for the culture, partying, and social events. London is one of the best cities in the world. Even better than New York IMHO.

If you ever get fed up with the pride and prejudice, the provincial borders are open to you if you like. I'm sure you know that. Once you get older, it gets harder to move though, because of kids, family, friends etc.

I hope you are doing well there, I haven't seen you post as much recently. I just thought you were busy maybe at work. I hope this SS show is almost over for us with the Bomber. I can see things changing for the better. Q2 will tell the tale. GL

bicente wrote: Sounds like a good time for sure ... 9 holes and good wine beats 18 holes anytime even though I'm not that great at golf , well actually I am lousy but I do enjoy the time on the course ... Toronto is great but I only stopped by briefly on my way to Niagara ... hopefully one day I'll get to see more of it ... GLTA

I'm a member at a golf course in downtown in Toronto. It overlooks lake Ontario. The scenery is beautiful, and the food in the clubhouse is even better. It's the only course right in the city, but it's only nine holes. Because the land in the city is very expensive. The wine is phenominal. The membership is 25K a year but it's worth it. if Club wants wants come along he's welcome as well. Btw. I wouldn't poke one of those mlle's even if they begged for it. Had some. They don't know if they're coming or going. No fan of the gangs either.

bicente wrote: You bet I will have some beverage with you but it might a festive drink to celebrate our decision to hang onto our bomber shares when everyone was saying sell ... it was tough but the best is on the way  ... GLTA

quote=BBDB859]Hey Bicente.

When your done with Quebec, and you decide to come to Ontario. Let me know so I can have a coffee with you here. I live at the North end of the city, (Bayview and Steeles area). We'll probably still own this company's shares. So we'll discuss the share price daily. I know the city inside out, and we can discuss our Bomber shares daily.

BTW. We had to live through another cashburn in Q1.

bicente wrote: Well at least you have o r guy here that undersrands why thus French bullcwap will only result in more paperwork and mistakes . I have done business in other countries and they laugh at us when we show them French documents , then they want to hire their own translators and charge us for it with their '" administration " costs ... what a joke we are ... and to those who say leave the Province , I would like to let them know that I will be leaving when my dad passes , he is the only reason I am staying ... thankfully my real estate has gotten a nice boost and moving to Ontario will be less costly ... winters will be spent in Florida , if the health permits me too ..  I did well in Quebec but would have done better in Ontario ... vive le Qubec libre ... LMFAO ... glta

quote=clubhouse19]Doesn't this province have anything better to do as it keeps on shooting itself in the foot.

  it's not enough they have 2-3 parties each looking for a reason to exist
 and looking for trouble and now want to add another one??  Now they want exclusive french communication with the government where there are 4 million pure laine in a sea of anglophones within north america. Only in Quebec can we be so  navel gazing and be blind to what is around. Wonder what communications with the American government will be like if corresponded to in french...file 13 ??

  While the whole world is becoming multilingual here in Quebec they rather try to be "Ont c'est faire mais seulement en francais "  what a f'en joke
