RE:RE:RE:BBD EXPECT TO DELIVER 20 JETS IN Q1 2022The way to look at this is that a lot of the remianing 19 aircraft to be delivered this quarter are near completion. It is just build up that takes time, delivery itself is easy. Manufacturing the plane is what is difficult and from the sounds of Eric Martel they are nearly complete manufacturing 19 aircraft, some of which would have been getting worked on in 2021.
I think it's important for posters on this board to recognize the aircraft manufacturing cycle. It is not like an electric car that can be assembled in 15 minutes or an iphone that can be assembled in 15 seconds. This is an aircraft, tons of metal and other materials that will be flying 30,000 feet in the sky for 10+ hours. It takes time to build one and the company is getting good at building, scaling the learning curve.
Delivery in and of itself is irrelavent in the longer process from fuselage to flying to a customer. Delivery can happen in the blink of an eye. Should they wish, they can deliver 3 or 4 airplanes in one day.
Please, I encourage you to apply your sapien logic to the situation.
