RE:CPI

RE:CPIHey Club. I honestly don't see inflation as a problem at all for Bombardier. Remember the rich get richer with Inflation. & high Interest rates. They have the money, they loan at high rates in those inflationary times. So they'll still have the cash to buy their toys, and pay inflationary prices to OEM's for the product they need..

I'm a little worried about Recesions affecting the New Bus. Jets purchases from the Corporate providers like Net Jets. But even there we got it covered with the profitable Service side.and used/referbished product.

Inflation may worry certain people. I'm not one of them. I think Inflation can be fought with reasonably higher interest rates, and Supply. The old really high interest rate policies were crippling to the economy, because they caused huge Recesions just to fight Inflation. Now they've (Govt's) smartened up. Govt's have caused this Inflation since the 2019/20 Covid period. They've destroyed the Supply Chain and totally disrupted the Labour Chain as well. People just don't want work for cheap anymore. The Bomber recent union Negotiations have shown this.

Cheers

As to inflation ..cpi and the bomber

The broader market is one thing and how it will affect individual investors but I will ask one question as to the Bomber and inflation

Has there ever been a time that inflation has affected severely the ultra rich in buying their expensive toys ?

Those at the top of the hill push their costs downhill for someone else to carry. Bomber may have that advantage as they are selling to another class of buyers rather to those that are impacted directly by inflation.

Effect is not the same for all...look at alll the oil execs now as an example that may very well be in the market for such toys ??
