RE:RE:RE:N'oublions pas - Don't forgetIf EM, leaves which i think is not happening then thats no big deal.

EM was passed over to bring Alain to make big boy decisions after all the mismanagement of Pierre.  EM left for Hydro after Alain arrive and EM crawled back when carrot was dangled in front of him.

It is Alain who got rid of all the money draining division.  Love or hate him, it was Alain Bellemare who cleaned and cleared all of Bombardier's mess.  Dibert was his right hand man to clean up the finances.

Learjet 85A cost $1.4 billion and was still not competitive in the market compared to competitors.

Q400 was outsold by ATR and too costly to build.

CRJ was loosing market share to Embraer  and with all the money going to C series nothing was done to refresh CRJ's to be more competitive.

Rail divsion product quality and delivery were pathetic and the entire division was under bidding to get contracts.

C series didn't have the financial backing to cover ramp up cost.  R&D cost way more then projected.  Airbus is still cleaning up mess to increase margin.

Bombardier is more focused now and very little distraction.  EM is given to much credit but when he was around the aerospace division he managed was over budget.  Learjet and Global R&D cost and delay happen under him while he was leading that division.
