The talk about the past is becoming more than tiring, its nonproductive, it’s time to move on, the proper steps have been taken, now let it all play out. Being a Monday night quarterback serves no purpose, it just prolongs the memories of the past, prevents one from seeing the possible bright future that awaits. Grant you, there is reason to be suspicious of present management, they have to prove themselves, but give them some leeway, first impressions are that it is working out has planned.

 

The next 2 quarters will be very interesting, many are of the opinion that the share price has plenty of room to grow, how far remains to be seen.

If things are going positively well from now, I will not be surprised the share price could reach near a buck or higher at the day of Thursday May 6, 2021 when Bombardier will deliver her First-1st Quartely Financials Report. The stock has closed yesterday @ $0.75. Soon or later her stability in the share price will remain in the upright direction for this important Quebec multinational

i do agree with your post! you say it, those next two quarters, don't have to be disapointed, not bashing, but can't miss those two first ones, you know what i mean! I do hope it will go right for them, after a few years well off the track!

YES, BELLEMARE also said the same thing and we all belived him and he could have done it and acheive free positive cash flow if if gas prices did not drop from 110 - to 26 a barrel if Boeing did not bully bbd with 300% tax forcing bbd to get air bus a partner and on top of that pay almost 900 million per year for 3 year to help build Albama plant for air bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if Airbus was decent

It was said in a Quebec radio station interview, done by EM in French, aired 2 or 3 weeks ago, that I started hearing it from some of the posters here, (Sham maybe) that translated most of the highlights of it. It was also verified by many others Francophones shareholders we have here. Either way. If someone knows that the Bomber will be profitable in 2021, it would be him. This kind of statement

I suspect something has been lost in translation. If that were true, it would have been trumpeted loud and clear on Investor Day. EM and BD have already said that EBITDA is projected to be about $550M, which will barely cover interest expense,, and FCF usage will be about $500M. Jim

You can listen to EM interview on March 11, by Paul Arcand radio 98.5 easy to find on Google. Yes EM mentions twice at the beginning and the very end that BBD will be profitable in 2021. I was surprized... Is there confusion with EBITDA vs FCF ?? EM was certainly positive with bizzjet future in the present context.

Thank you, raphaelle2. This is very surprising, as it contradicts the information we received on the conference call, and at the presentation. And we haven't even factored in the $400-450M amortization. I will give it a listen, although I struggle to understand spoken french. I will search for a transcript as well. Jim,

Well, I looked but couldn't find a transcript anywhere. I did listen to the interview, understood some of it, missed a lot of it. Obviously, BBD will not be bottom line profitable in 2021, nor in 2022 for that matter, IMO. My best guess is that EM felt comfortable using the word 'profitable' in that setting to refer to achieving positive FCF. Probably wasn't the appropriate

Sounds like $1.7 B in revenue is a reasonable number given the 2025 projections. Over $2 B is a bonus. Stock is not over valued at $3 and will get there once they let their knee off the throat.
