It's pays to be contrarian

Two of my worst holdings during 2020, BBD and SRV.UN, were essentially written off by markets and headed for bankruptcy. This year they have been my best gainers. It's good to be contrarian. Don't follow the herd, because, well, the herd always goes over the cliff.

I've found it pays to find under appreciated turn-around stories. This is my 4th in the last 1/2 dozen years or so, and all did really well. Will be looking for another after Bombardier. Might be a lot of them, with so many stocks already way, way down. Could end up being very fortunate timing, actually, which would be cool. Not counting on it, would just be a ...more
