Short Interest Down to 5.227 Million as of March 22...

Are we at or near a bottom? Well seeing there's been support, the other thing would be Short Covering.

 

Unbelievably, the short interest is down considerably as of March 22. It went down approx. 5 million to close out at 5.227 million short interest on Friday March 22.

 

This means the shorts are about to go long, IMO, if they haven't already done so.

I am truly hoping that this is the bottom but that is not what technicals are showing.  Technicals however are not neccessarily the last word. Has anyone noticed how many forward shares BCE has purchased this month  that settle in 2025? Also BCE has an NCIB in place.  Is that how they are making use of it? GLTY and all

It's temporary. Some are getting out so they don't have to pay the dividend. They'll be back in droves once it goes ex-divvie.
