I was following the trade history on the tsx website. Looked to me like for the most part it was one person (or atleast the same brokerage) on the buy side. My guess on the sell side, you had some investors who took advantage of the increased price / volume to lighten their positions (volume is typically low, so it's hard to get out without taking a hit). I did read through the financials and it didn't look like too much going on that would warrant a jump (but maybe I missed something?). So my guess is that whoever was buying wanted the dividend and feels it's still cheap based on book value. I'm totally guessing here though! Cheers!
