Veritas and Reaction

(Paraphrased) Veritas Research put a sell on BIP.UN as they  feel that the long term outlook is not good. Your reaction?

Veritas likes to 'make waves' and get publicly so it often puts out 'sells' for popular companies. They will often highlight issues that are not new (eg. over aggressive accounting, perceived cash flow weakness, etc.) but have not been highlighted by others.

We prefer to just look at the numbers so with this in mind, in the past five years the shares are up 50% and revenue has tripled. Distributions have gone from $0.21 to $0.36 and the POR is barely over 50%.  While BIP.UN is not really 'cheap', and it can be impacted by interest rates/recession, we think it is still a good investment.
