RE:RE:RE:Its official , the world is insane HighOctane. Probably best that the storm misses the mouth of the mississppi. That way
all the exports are free to move out of the US including coal LNG...Not to mention keeping the
refineries open. The best scenario for natural gas would be a storm that tracks north to New Orleans
leading to the oil/gas wells being shut in and then does an abrupt right turn to North Florida sparing the on
shore infrastructure.
I am keepin an eye on this for now. I believe that until seabourne coal drops a LOT the price
of natural gas will be well supported.
Note: Updated numbers today show eastern US steam coal is still around $8 /mmbtu gas equivalent.
