As an example, BIR now paying a dividend it cant afford and its being punished accordingly. The CEO/BOD promised this for 2023 but will right size for 2024 . Explained this AGAIN fully yesterday-everything is relative and right now the best returns are cdn HEAVY oil..
Finally, not sure where you been - CPG was one of his top pics owing to their buying up alot of reserves and has recently been buying SUNCOR due to the safety record improving, their new CEO that he really likes and that fact they are reaching a debt theshold were more FCF will be directed to shareholders...
Bottom line: ERIC runs a fund to make money for his investors so his job isn't to appear on BNN and give away his ideas REAL TIME..NOTHING IS FREE so listen to him (or not) and make your own investment calls...dwdc
