One must consider the year in entirety
Presumeably birchcliff made some exceptional cashflows throughout a good portion of 2022......probably so much cashflow that even exceeded managements wildest dreams...........so they paid off a whack of debt and all those other things a company does when they have so much money.......they even raised the divi..........the current low price of gas although breath taking when you condider its decline from lofty hieghts is really not that unusual give historic prices of gas for this time of year.........yes its a tad low but there has been many years where it has been lower...........the takeaway from my vocal drivel is this..........we should be thankful we had such good fortune in 2022 gas market and remember that from whence we came we will no doubt rise again .........i would not be throwing in the towel on birchcliff just yet.......i will enclose this link to henry hub historical prices for you to look at.......take care ya'all..... https://www.eia.gov/dnav/ng/hist/rngwhhdm.htm

Well said Soundandfury, the cure for low prices are low prices and vice a versa. Companies have learned (finally) from past mistakes. Contrary to what many believe a hot summer and a cold winter next year can change things in a hurry.
