So I made it through shoulder season
Still tax loss season coming up though.
This guy Aaron Bilkoski at TD almost looks like he's coming around, he says "Dividend Now Funded with CF, but Not Much Wiggle Room: We estimate 2024E capex program and the current dividend equate to an all-in payout of 97% under our commodity-pricing assumptions (90% at current strip). Although now funded with CF, the payout ratio is high versus peers and likely remains the focus for investors."
Of course I'm down $60k today but this is a long game not a daily weigh in.
Nobody wanted to buy MSFT at $15 in Mar of 2009.

I bought some during Jeff's fireside chat almost a year ago when I bailed. If the company is correct and gas hangs in up here perhaps the divi is safe and like he said they anticipate paying down some debt in Q4 it's a bit of a gamble for sure. Anything positive and the shorts may bail and be happy. Tax loss will be interesting

Nat gas was below 2.15 the beginning of June this year. and since been moving up to a high of $3.65 at the end of October. Technically positive and that does support BIR's share value.

Aeco price or Henry Hub. Remember BIR pricing is AECO based which has been running at $2.25 CAD-$2.60 the last few weeks.

I stand corrected. The bulk of BIR gas pricing is Nymex.

capitol gains are a b There are stocks I own that I never sell. What happens over time is that these stocks pay more in one yr in div than my original cost.
