News this week?
I know the wait has been long, but I think this binding offtake will make big waves whenever it drops.. I think Matt mentioned that this will be the first profit sharing offtake agreement..? If I'm not mistaken? If so, you can bet that there will be a LOT of eyes reading that news release and checking out our project. I've always gotten the sense that there are some big players on the sidelines, waiting for things to advance a little more before they jump in, but.. I think this deal could seriously lengthen that lineup of prospective investors. Another thing that I've been thinking about (since someone mentioned it on the ceo forum), is what an offtake means for bki's value... I mean it's 4mtpa for what, 4 years? 16m tonnes? And we're set to get 100% of the 65% benchmark value PLUS the lion's share of the remaining purity premium?! This offtake is a contract for billions in revenue at current prices (and at conservative prices), contingent on everything else working out.. but really, the land transfer is the only real question mark left, and although slow, the Ukrainian government hasn't given me any reason to think that they're against it.. I think the next little bit is going to be very exciting for bki shareholders. I've been here since 2017, I know a lot of you have been here longer, and I believe that our profound patience is about to pay off..
