RE: Thanks again ApocoThe Ballard automobile division has been sold to Ford and Daimler. Ballard originally were a fc bus developper. They kept that part of the business. The fc automobile division is now part of a new joint venture with Daimler and Ford. Ballard has a minority interest in that venture and a "refundable" $50 millions investment in it.
Many companies are into fuel cells. Ballard is a leader.
Homerun are nice but they are not necessary to win a game.
Oil is cheap again but it won't last. Too many uneconomical projects are being put on hold. This will eventually cause a supply constraint again. Oil price will come back up with a vengeance. Oil is abondant. Cheap oil is not.
The Stone Age didn't end for a lack of stones. Green efficient technology have a merit on their own.
Ballard power is a good company but the share price is another story. The last "bought deal" was at $20.cdn. At the time they didn't really need the money but they took the offer from the brokers. It was a smart move on their part. Save us some dillution at todays price.
