It should have happened a LONG time ago, BUT FINK was a BIG obstacle and got in the way of ANY potential merger. Fink was just to full of himself, in the same way the CREW mgmt guys are, overestimated their worth & priced themselves out of ANY possible M&A talks. Now with him more or less gone, it has a higher chance of happening IF Obsidian is still interested. Which i'll assume they still are.

At this point, Bonterra is nothing but a little spec of dust on the global scene on North America......just a insignificant microcap. For which no one cares and they'll have a VERY hard time attracting VIP institutional investors and THEIR money in the coming years. If Trump wins this coming November, oil will get crushed back to ~$50 and smallish entities like Bonterta & Obe will revisit that dreadful period like in 2019-2020. And this time, both will probably NOT make it out! So yes.....no one gives a "flying hoot" about both Bne & OBE, so merge & get bigger or risk being fogotten & disappear.
