The Company is focused on the development of the Pembina and Willesden Green Cardium lands within central Alberta. It has Shaunavon properties in the Chambery field, which produce medium density crude oil from the upper Shaunavon formation under waterflood. It also has assets in the Prespatou area of northeast British Columbia, which consists almost entirely of natural gas and associated natural gas liquids. It also has an undeveloped Charlie Lake asset that is prospective for light oil in Bonanza, Alberta. The Company has over 116 net sections of contiguous land in the light oil prone Charlie Lake.

Typically spinouts have been with bigger companies or the ones driven by financial transactions. But it is a solid option. And the smart land acquisition would be a solid gain on sale. 

The higher production level at bne right now creates funding for drilling out the Montney though. 

they are big enough to have an operating budget ranging from 60 million to 150 million a year. 

Per the update, poor gas prices and oil prices 5 dollars lower generates cash flow of around 120-125 million. 

so the company has the abilty to fund a Cardium program plus building out infrastructure if they want to. A disciplined strategy like they are following is pretty smart. Tie the well in, based on performance test another well in another part of the acreage. Tie it in and if it looks good put in some processing. Next year drill 4 wells. By then we should also have a healthier gas market.
