Investor vs speculator

For those who are critical of options for staff who are building a company. I'd like to know what value we shareholders add when all we do is buy and sell existing shares.

We are nothing but speculators who see temporary discounts and potential for returns on our money. We don't inject new money into the company and we don't provide advice or opportunity. We are merely riding on the coattails of those who are doing the heavy lifting.

We are the owners of the company. We have our money at risk. The employee has no capital at risk. I believe employees need to be properly compensated such that they are aligned with shareholder's objectives but the employee must always have the prime objective of maximizing shareholder wealth. Good companies understand that. I hope this one does because there are plenty of oil and gas ...more

I am very sure they, the Company, knows very well the support needed by the share holders. And at some point soon, I hope, they will announce the short term or long term plan regarding Divy and or other. PS ALL OIL gas companys hand out option to their insiders. Just the way it works.
