BNS has been the bank laggard..for past 4 years

Its a coin toss...I added to CM last week...lol bad timing
but its a bank stock and i plan to hold for next 15 year-20 years
so not worried...I own TD( the best) BNS and CM...

good luck

I admire your ability to buy and hold a stock for such a lengthy period of time... no can do for me! And, I'm certainly not going to tell you how you should invest/divest or what strategy you should use, when it comes to investing.

But, one thing is for sure... It's all about the timing isn't it?!

I purchased BNS in March/April of 2020. My in-price position for 800 shares was $52.84 p/s. I divested the full position in March/22 @ $93.00 for a nice capital gain, plus of course the dividend yield of ~4.5% over the 2 year period.

I have recently repurchased 400 shares in July/22 @ $74.80 and another 400 in Sept/22 @ $67.85, for an average share price of $71.33. I'll hold until it nears the $100 range and divest it all again.

It's my humble opinion that BNS will do just fine and continue to be an awesome investment going forward.
