I'm no fan of how BNS handled this debacle, but in terms of how this was accounted for it's already been identified on the accounting side - and then some.

Only a real Conservative could be that stupid. Of curse, this is the party who elected Andrew Scheer, a guy who answered the phone at an insurance agency before being elected, as leader and then canned him when they found out how incompetent and dishones he was.
