Inflation Hedge

As this is hitting all time highs, investors are obviously aware that the royalties are paid on top line revenue. While profits may not improve much, inflation should aid revenues at restaurants thereby improving royalties that accrue to holders. Combined with improved traffic post Covid, distributions should increase.

I remember that Bennett stuff.  What exactly was it?  Something like DIV had to pay his costs for something illegal he did.  He was in jail wasn't he, or the Americans were trying to have him extradited?   I'm no longer in DIV.  Agree dividends and distributions have to be increased everywhere but the companies have been getting away so long without having ...more

Thanks, that covers it.  DIV did much better once that was out of the way.  They got the Aimia, and sold Average Joe's I think it was, but then they bought Mr. Mikes and a few others I wasn't too keen about.  They are doing well enough to recently issue a debenture.   It was you and Nedstar that were the big posters on the DIV bullboard.   Maybe ...more
