Yes, CRAZY, companies are idiots for issuing prefs and should redeem them immediately! If you can't make sense of why pref shares exist, you should not invest in them.  Full stop.  ...more

I do not expect any other BPO's to be redeemed but do expect

expense off Prefer dividends while they can expense off interest on debt to pay less TAX.   I'm guessing come 2026 the C's going to cost the company maybe close to 10%  or $2 ...more

BPO's "C's" will probably be Redeemed come July 2026

by then their share price probably be around $25 if not higher anyways. All just my opinion/view/thinking/guessing.

Yes that is what I meant. I don't expect ENB, TRP, BPO etc to redeem but I do expect more buying pressure on remaining outstanding prefs as a result of bank redemptions. The ETF's need to ...more

Follow the money. Banks and just about every other company

are redeeming their reset prefers when they have the opportunity to do so (when they reset every 5 years).   Some taking out loans to do so even.    THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING ...more
