RE:RE:Remember, Prefers "cost" more than debt... company can'tRESET Prefers were isssued because back then interest rates were going down down down down down.... So, the cost (dividend payments) on them would become smaller smaller smaller.   For the longest time, that's was the trend on interest rates... Down..

Until we hit basically ZERO.

Do you see any company issuing new RESET Prefers in past few years!!!!!   I don't think so!!!!

WHY?....  interest RATES going up and still.  


OH, I know why pref shares exist, why RESET prefers exist,   THAT's why I bought them now and holding.

Significant more gains on share price to be had.    Not to mention dividends, that's just gravy.

Companies can not redeem them immediately.  It's pretty basic stuff you should know.

It seems you can't make sense about these prefs, not me.   

Sold my boat, not interested in another.

Let me guess, you sold most of your holdings....
