RE:RE:Short Interest In Light of Bruce Flatt's comments yesterday.Hi Wynner,

Really appreciate your thoughts.  I have made great returns on thinly traded stocks.

I have a very strong view that "most people" think the stock market is NOT a casino.  I am a believer the capital markets in the western world have been an unbelievable wealth creator for small investors like me and much more so for people like Bruce Flatt.

I have never spent a dollar in a casino because they, like lottery tickets, are for losers, in my opinion.  I know lots of people that have lost their wealth gambling.  On the other hand, if Bruce Flatt had been more eloquent in saying like Buffett, invest in the index or like you in Mutual Funds etc etc...this would have been a much better choice of words. He chose to use the word casino which is an insult.

You may want to read Pref Blog from yesterday....he has a whole different take on Flatts comments, which I also agree with.

Have a great day,
Carena
