Properties are not worthless.  It's some of the the contracts with tenants that are probably worthless at the moment.   It's a temporary thing due to Central Banks rapidly ...more

Why I hold BPO instead of BPY or BN or some other prefer....

simple, BPO RESET yields looks to be much higher than anything out there just about.   Simple as that.

You are correct.  The "A" had a great run early this year.  And we took advantage of it. As posted here at the time, my wife and I purchased BPO.PR.A on October 30, 2023 at $7.16 ...more

I like the Fixed Base Rate and Minumum Rate used by

Fixed Resets..... You always know your absolute minimum yield (dividends) you will get.    No worries, nothing to "figure out", you can make plans knowing how much you will get ...more

Correction, my mistake.... There's BN.PR.K   and there's BN.PF.K. "PF" is monthly "PR" is Quarterly I wasn't paying close enough attention. Preferred ...more
