share price went to $10,000/share...... Where would the best place for the T's to be? In TFSA or Margin/Cash account?

I have to take it to the extreme to see if Pierre will understand.

If the earth spirals out of its orbit, is it better to have a TFSA or a mortgage? Can you stay within the bounds of reality with this stuff? Even in a CRAZY scenario, prefs are never gonna trade over $30. They're redeemable -- we all sold call options to the issuer. The BPO option isn't worth anything right now because the credit spread implied by price is massive, but ...more
