I was caught napping on these oil stocks and now I'm obsessed with following every little bit of news and market reactions. I'm a newbie here but have noticed your measured and thoughtful comments.

I think raising cash and playing with the volatility would be a wise move in the next few months, but there is risk in that.

Merry Christmas and lets hope for a good year in the markets in 2015.

The subject was Tounge in cheek as I sure don't like to lose money!

However capital preservation is a biggie for me at this point in my life. It's bitter sweet to able to offset your gains once in a while to maintain your capital, but what's a guy to do when there are still large storm clouds on the horizon.
And please don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, there are too many retail investors that are down way more than I was with no way out other than a huge rebound or wait it out for a long time. And it's going to be a while before the Canadian Oil Industry sees the full results of this large correction.
