Transport and diluent are about $8 so $18 at the battery before OPERATING COST, interest, G&A, etc. Heavy model shows most guys are "even to negative $4/bbl". Most of these guys are held in only on hedges or low cost. BTE not the only one in trouble. Someone mentioned tax loss but don't forget ceiling tests for yearend. If the price stays down 20-50% of the reserves will have to be written off. Seen it before, been in the business too long.
