Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 162,000 net acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

I think BTE may eventually move above 5 and 6 but not for awhile. Share price basically leveled off in May because I believe debt is still hurting Baytex. Eagle Ford is the only thing that keeps me halfway in BTE
On the other hand, Advantage Oil is low price and their balance sheets are better. Credit Suisse recently rated the company outperform. Stifel rated buy way back in March. The only problem with Advantage is their low trade volume which can make stock movements choppy instead of smooth. But with all the chops, the price of Advantagehas gradually moved up in a slope since January.
Now BTE is still a lot more liquid and has more people trading it. (average volume 2.16 mil) That's better than Crescent Point and some of the other major players in the oilpatch. So sometimes you have to weigh the options. Both Advantage & Batyex are good at this point
