Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 162,000 net acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:That's excite me profondly...I just wonder where this stock (and the sector) would be trading in a normal functioning market , everything is so undervalued and the algo pressure just never ends . You can watch a selection of O&G stocks and they all get hit with sell orders at the same time as the algos churn , there are no fundimentals considered , just short energy . 

Bankers generally have no moral's so it perplexes me that they would try to crush the only sector that is succeeding . I don't like to wish ill will on anyone but this country needs to see some "NO GAS" signs and experience some shortages before they wake up and demand some changes . In the mean time , this situation continues to fester in the dark .

The loonie is in the tank which provides a further windfall when American profits are brought back to Canada , all these positives keep poking through the curtain of negativity . Sooner or later the buyers will return , it may just take a brick to the side of the head before the message gets through .
