RE:RE:RE:RE:API crude oil reportAgain with the charts , your killing me mas . 8 billion people was never budgeted for in the original estimates ......... but seriously , I get your point although I have to ask , if CO2 is the problem , why is there so little interest or reward for carbon capture ?

Natural Gas fertilizer plants are some of the largest CO2 producers but I don't know of one with any carbon capture . There is one in Brandon Mb owned by the Koch brothers who spend millions each year to landlock Canadian resources , there is one west of Regina Sk owned by Norwegian company Yara . Norway , the government that felt obligated to sell oilsand assets for climate change woke policy . There are several of these plants in Germany and Europe and not one has any carbon capture .

Saskpower has carbon capture and sends it via pipeline to Whitecap for underground storage at Midale . Its a project that has received awards but the Canadian government refuses to recognize the acheivement or the carbon credit . Everyone has a villain to point at but like cancer , there is no money in a cure , treatment ensures return customers .

While I don't believe we can "engineer" climate control , we can definitely do better as far as emissions go and polution in general . But that becomes a people thing , not O&G alone so raping the landscape and water table for rare earth metals sounds like new damage and a bad trade ........ why not just work at fixing all we can now as we work toward something better . In reality though , this is all moot , more coal is being burned today than 5 years ago . Without having China , India and now Germany playing on the same team , alone we are spitting at a 5 alarm fire .
