Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 162,000 net acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. RE:Something to think about it this week-end !!Every new barrel drawn from the SPR will only further damage to storage chambers but do nothing to impede price . The real problem is the loss of refining capacity with most SPR oil being exported , particularly the light sweet crude . The US needs another 1M to 2M barrel's of refinery expansion , this is another market Canada could be taking advantage of if only Ottawa could see the light .

Q3 will be interesting , with prices having been depressed all summer don't expect a record setter but production levels are what I'm most interested in . Only a few more weeks red and we will see where we stand .
