Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 162,000 net acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:RE:BSW laughs and laughs at the doomI agree with what you are saying.  Short term risks with economy, fed hikes and all that do pose some downside risk. But what does long term 5 years look like for a company like baytex?  Lots of noise has been happening this year and its only being amplified by horrible policy making.  Most the people on this board are long term horizon investors, what happens in between isnt much of a going concern.  Im a long holder from Sept 2019.  My original thesis on this stock takes me to 2024 for a sell.  Ive also traded close to 300k shares to capitalize on the run ups and downs in between.  

So you cant bash people with long term focus who have ridden this thing from literally the depths of hell to today, and plan to hold for another year or two. We should be respectful of other peoples views and investing goals. After all, we are all here for the same reason and thats to make money.
