Speculations for the future

Speculations for the futureThere have been several comments about BTE moving to the US and selling Canadian assets. My personal opinion is that those people make a good point. Also my personal opinion is that this is not a bad thing:

1) A move to the US will add capitalization increase overnight. Unfortunately this is often the case.

2) There are already boots on the ground in the US that can take over all operations. Dumping Marathon Oil can only help profitability.

3) Focus on the assets in the US which can be rapidly expanded to maximize cash flow. The extra cash flow will come back to the shareholders.

4) Selling underperforming Canadian assets or assets that are stranded due to lack of pipeline capacity (a Canadian phenomenon that will never improve) will help to clear some of the debt.

5) Pipeline infrastructure in Eagle Ford is expanding rapidly (unlike the Canadain pipeline fiasco) which can only help things.
