RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Deal done june 21st !... I believe that Baytex now has more torque both to the upside and downside. The sp is much lower than their peers. Baytex stubbed their tor when they announced the Ranger acquisition when we all bought into the 5 year plan to reduce debt. They did have an inventory concern and now they don't. They will also gain much more attention from the portfolio managers and funds in the USA. The inventory of some of their peers is getting rather thin, some < 5 yrs. One of the reasons Meg had done so well with 30+ yrs inventory.
Baytex will look like a rockstar if oil price goes up (fingers crossed for $100+).
