Demand Levels? The canary in the coal mine just might be that demand levels for gasoline are coming down and we could be in an oversupply situation leading to investment fear in the oil and gas sector by investors who otherwise might be looking to diversify their portfolios away from the tech sector or the like. I believe heavy institutional and even hedge fund managers don't wanna be in a position of weakness even if the balance sheets of these oil/gas companies are becoming even more attractive as oil hovers around $80-85 over the near and long term. I remain bullish but am more alert to the above situation. Of course the wild card is the Middle East but I try not to deal in what if's.
