This highlights rates of production on all the new wells in 2021 were way below prior year rates. This means you need 20% more rigs to obtain the 2017-2019 average rate.
HOW???
New tight oil well performance was -16% lower in 2021 than 2017-2019 average. New wells added average +86 bopd in 2H 2021 vs +103 bopd in 2017-2019.
