Just passed $96 (up 5%)but the market is down in after hours 750 points. So it will be a general bloodbath tomorrow, BUT with oil up large, oil companies may actually avoid the worst and eke ou a small gain. Opinions/Comments?

Oil stocks are the best bet i think.

I'm expecting at least 5% increase in small cap oil. Gear, Athabasca, Tamarack, Baytex and Petroshale and Arc. News just out from the White House, full sanctions will be announced tomorrow. I'm not sure if cutting off their oil but if they do then $120 WTI should be expected in the coming weeks

Too many variables...how does US retaliate...how does Russia retaliate to the US retaliation...full sanctions? Swift? Energy? SPR? Who knows....but one thing is for sure...all those bears shorting oil got caught badly tonight. Lots of margin calls I expect very shortly if not already.
