Yes, I'm familiar with the lassonde curve. I met Pierre many times when he worked with Ned at beutel Goodman. And a couple times at Franco. He will agree not ALL , in fact not even many, follow his curve, most fail, or are taken out, but for those few that survive from discovery to production, his observations often do occur. It's a worthy question to ask when you are investing in any growth stock. Mining exploration follows the same path as say biotech drug research. Or back during the internet bubble, a concept was worth $1 billion, but once it was a product or service generating revenue it crashed. The question I always ask is " that's great, so now what?" .
