UK O&G Windfall Tax
This is concerning to me - I am long and strong Canadian O&G but is this not a MAJOR risk to shareholders going forward? There has already been chatter in Canada about implementing something similar. Now that the UK has 'popped the cherry' so to speak, it would not be surprising to see the current regime follow suit.
I would imagine this is very popular to the average citizen that has no skin in the game as well. If the Liberals implement something similar the model forecasting profits, etc. would need to be downwardly adjusted.

In my opinion this is bullish See my prior posts. Baytex has great tax pools and they are already drilling in Clearwater!! I will take the drilling incentive all day!
