Leger poll: majority of Canadians support oil industry
This is an interesting poll. I'm sure the threat to energy security in Europe is having an impact on Canadians. This is going to be interesting. Trudeau is probably the least principalled politician on the federal scene in my lifetime. The only thing he believes in is the last poll. Energy security could be a major theme in our next election, which I think will be next year. It'll be interesting to see if he pivots, embraces carbon capture and proclaims himself to be the true champion of selling ethical and responsible Canadian oil and gas to the world.
