It wasn't me. Indexers maybe? It's triple witch day as well. There's a few huge blocks at the close today. I noticed Tou and meg. Probably many more. Bears and bashers will cry "OMG who is dumping??" But the rest of us are more curios about. " WOW, who just bought that huge block??" .

It's not an SIB. SIB regulations require - among other things - notification/offer to all holders of the security.

They have bought back stock EVERY SINGLE DAY since the NCIB started in May. So , I'm sure they bought some today but it was not a SIB. An SIB can NOT be done without full advance disclosure and regulatory approval. The SIB will come early next year.

To elaborate some more, Sept 16th was one of the quadruple witching events that occur usually 4 times a year. This is when stock index futures contracts, single-stock options, options on index futures, and stock index options expire. The movements have already happened awhile ago.
