SPR Release November
SPR release extended into November past the US election, with 10M in Nov. No increase to the 180M barrels total.
A bit longer before we see the after SPR release oil price rise...

Interesting is right. Biden released another 10M bbl of sweet crude for the Nov election. The thing is, it will not go to US market as US refineries are not able to process it so, it will get exported abroad. This wasteful extravagant use of the SPR is shameful and not what it was intended for. Well thats politics at its lowest but who's going to stop it.

Whereare you getting this information , I see some Dem's sent a letter to Biden "asking" for a continuation of the SPR releases but I can't find anything that says this decision was made . Sounds to me like more phantom supply chatter , unconfirmed 2nd hand information from a 3rd hand source .

The DOE website for SPR is quite user friendly surprisingly. https://www.energy.gov/articles/doe-announces-notice-sale-additional-crude-oil-strategic-petroleum-reserve One thing to note is that a notice for sale does not equal barrels delivered. We saw on a few past NOS's that they were not fully allotted. I agree with another poster that a lot of this will likely be exported.
