With oil dropping one would think Baytex would get hammered. New base?  Could be 14 bucks with oil over $100 if this holds.

I have been wondering about the impact of this whole share buyback thing. Some mentioned this is a heavy retail stock. I guess long holddrs and short holders. If the longs are holding for $10+ this is a battle between day traders, shorts and the company. I'm not sure but do shorts get charged interst on the shares borrowed? If so every month they pay interest against a company that has

Trading very strongly as the market is now seeing the value here and elsewhere. Recall that BTE had trouble holding $6 when oil was over $100. Now pushing for $7 with oil in the low $80s. The strong USD helping a little. Despite all this, STILL undervalued. As I have mentioned many times here before, the price of oil doesn't have to go up for BTE to become more valuable and the share price

This is the easiest and most obvious trade I have ever seen in 40 years of investing. I started this trade in 2015/2016 and have been adding heavily in the past two years. I expect the trade to take about 8 years with great profits on the books, but nothing compared to what is coming in the next 18 months.
