just watched Calif. govenor Gavin Newson blabbing about how they have increased battery storage from 250 megawatts to 4000 megawatts lately.. hmm.. I wonder.. what would happen if one of those batteries in one of those storage facilities failed.. would it not create a chain reaction of battery failures, and a colosal problem when the whole storage facility went up in flames, that the fire ...more

I would think the batteries are wired in parallel configuration to prevent catastrophic failure. You think they're going to wired it up like Christmas tree lights. Lmao!!!!

I believe moemoney was refering to a battery failure where containment is lost , they burn like a blowtorch and one will cause a domino effect on the rest of the bank causing further fires which would equal a total loss of the facility .

Wasn't there a ship carrying a whole load of EV's that burnt and sank called the Felicity Ace.. it burned for 13 DAYS and as a result of EV's on board and the batteries burning they couldn't put out the fire. Reports state "lithium-ion batteries in the cars kept the fire alive"

There is a lot that eludes deepdodo so we try to help him color inside the lines when we can , its really a pathetic story . The poor guy was raised by a possum family and he has no social skills or common sense . You know what they say , you are a product of your environment .
